Job description

Slip Robotics builds autonomous robotic systems for warehouse logistics. We are a venture-backed, fast-growing team where technology, data, and AI are core to how we operate - not just what we sell. Our Digital Solutions team builds the internal tools, workflow automations, enterprise integrations, and governed systems that keep the company scaling efficiently.

The Role

We are hiring a Digital Solutions Developer to build internal tools, workflow automations, and operational applications alongside our Digital Solutions Lead. You will deliver high-leverage software that solves real problems across the organization - from automations that eliminate manual handoffs to dashboards that consolidate scattered data into actionable views.

AI-assisted development is a core competency for this team. You will use AI tools every day to write code faster, generate prototypes, scaffold integrations, and accelerate testing. A small team with strong AI fluency can produce output that would previously have required a team several times its size - and that's exactly the kind of leverage we're building.

We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, motivated to contribute beyond their immediate scope, and energized by the fact that every tool they ship compounds in value across every team that uses it.

What You Will Do
  • Design, develop, and ship internal applications, automations, dashboards, and integration layers that address cross-functional operational needs.
  • Harden prototypes into production-grade systems with documentation, automated tests, monitoring, and error handling.
  • Use AI-assisted development workflows to accelerate output - build with AI, not just about AI.
  • Build integration layers that connect enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, PLM) where native connectors fall short.
  • Support AI tool governance operations: tool registration, promotion pipeline intake, and Slip Hub maintenance.
  • Monitor, maintain, and support productionized tools. Ensure reliability and respond to issues.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience with full-stack capabilities (frontend frameworks, backend APIs, databases).
  • Proficiency with React, Node.js, and/or Python. Experience with PostgreSQL; familiarity with DynamoDB or NoSQL databases a plus.
  • Experience building internal tools, operational software, or workflow automations.
  • Active daily use of AI development tools - code assistants, LLM-based prototyping, AI-assisted debugging.
  • Experience with REST APIs and enterprise system integrations.
  • Familiarity with AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based development workflows.
  • Clear, concise communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus Points
  • Experience with data pipelines, Snowflake, dbt, or analytics tooling.
  • Background in robotics, logistics, manufacturing, or hardware companies.
  • Experience with enterprise systems (NetSuite, HubSpot, Propel PLM, or similar).
  • Familiarity with AI tool governance, compliance workflows, or SOC 2 environments.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and equity in an early-stage robotics company
  • Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision
  • Permissive time off policy
