HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

This role reports to the Carter's Brand Art Director and is based in our Buckhead office on site 4 days/week.
In close partnership with the Art Director, this role drives the design and execution of digital creative for Carter's highest priority brand and product stories. You will translate these into compelling, cohesive, and dynamic digital experiences across all consumer touchpoints.

80%: Digital brand storytelling and campaign leadership

  • Lead concept and design for major brand marketing stories across site, email, app, push, SMS, paid media, and emerging digital channels
  • Translate campaign direction into cohesive, high-impact digital experiences that balance brand expression with performance goals
  • Design and produce motion-driven content, including animated and video assets across digital channels
  • Support the end-to-end design process-from concept through production-ensuring assets are accurate, scalable, and optimized for all formats
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (marketing, channel teams, UX, etc.) to ensure work is customer-centered, intuitive, and aligned to strategy
  • Ensure consistency and excellence across all digital touchpoints, maintaining and evolving Carter's digital visual standards
  • Contribute to and evolve digital design systems, templates and guidelines to support scalable storytelling
  • Partner with Brand Art Director on photography and video capture to support digital-first content needs
  • Stay current on design trends, motion techniques, tools, and emerging technologies to continuously elevate creative output

20%: Paid Media creative concepting and development

  • Develop concepts and design into paid media assets for seasonal campaigns and brand-led initiatives, with a focus on video and motion.
  • Work closely with marketing and paid media partners to align on KPIs and stay up-to-date with platform-specific design guidelines and trends to adapt designs and maximize campaign performance.
  • Develop and execute creative A/B tests to continually optimize design performance.
  • Edit seasonal videos to develop innovative creative unique to social platforms.

WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:
Must have:

  • Strong digital design portfolio demonstrating brand storytelling across multiple channels, including motion/video work.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with the ability to independently manage projects from concept through production.
  • Demonstrated technical fluency in digital design-comfortable working within design systems, preparing files for development, and understanding platform constraints and capabilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work within constraints, meet deadlines, and continuously improve process and output quality.
  • Clear communicator with strong presentation skills and the ability to take and apply creative direction effectively.
  • Collaborative, hands-on, and solution-oriented approach to problem solving.
  • Proficiency in motion design and video editing tools (e.g., After Effects, Premiere, Figma motion or similar).
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

Preferred skills and experience:

  • 4-year bachelor degree in Graphic Design preferred
  • 5+ years experience in Graphic Design
  • Experience designing for eCommerce and performance marketing channels
  • Familiarity with prototyping tools, basic interaction design, or front-end considerations (HTML/CSS) a plus
