Your Opportunity, Your Team

  • The Jr. Digital Designer interfaces with many departments, so it is imperative not only be highly visual and creative, but they must also have good communication skills, are highly organized and efficient, have excellent follow-through and be able to constantly multi-task. The Creative Department is a team environment where the ability to collaborate is key.
  • You will report to the Manager of Digital Design

Where you will Work

  • This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite in the Atlanta, GA corporate office 4-6 days per month. Relocation is not offered for this position.

What You'll Do

  • Support Email Marketing by creating assets for weekly promotions, retail, trigger emails and trade program.
  • Design promotional, brand, and seasonal assets for Organic/Paid Social, SMS, and Affiliate marketing channels.
  • Assist in updating website content and visuals to support launches and ongoing merchandising needs.
  • Ensure brand visual consistency across omni-channel campaigns.
  • Works collaboratively with the Manager of Digital Design, Web Designer, Creative Director, and Centralized Marketing team to support and execute campaign creative.
  • Passionate learner who can develop a strong knowledge of the Ballard Designs brand, products, and programs.
  • Open to feedback and comfortable making updates quickly, with the ability to pivot as priorities shift in a fast - moving design environment.
  • Strong typographic, color and layout skills and an understanding of how these basic design principles are applied to the web.

What You'll Bring

  • 1-2 years experience in digital design.
  • Proficient in Figma, Photoshop, HTML/CSS, Dreamweaver and Illustrator with a broad understanding of current web and browser-related issues.
  • Knowledge of web design, HTML5 or JSon is a plus.
  • Experience working on consumer facing transactional or ecommerce oriented sites a plus.
