Senior Digital Delivery Manager
Business Operating Unit: Infrastructure
Location: Flexible (Canada / U.S. / Hybrid)
Position Summary
The Senior Digital Delivery Manager is a senior leadership role within Infrastructure Digital Practice (IDP), responsible for advancing digital delivery performance across the Infrastructure Business Operating Unit (BOU). This position connects digital strategy with project execution by helping project teams adopt consistent, scalable, and value-focused delivery practices across the Infrastructure BOU. The role supports stronger project outcomes through improved coordination, common data environment (CDE) governance, model-based delivery, data-driven decision making, and practical application of automation and AI, where they create measurable delivery value.
  • Bridges technology investment with real delivery value across BOU portfolios.
  • This position reports to the Infrastructure Digital Practice Lead.

Essential Responsibilities Digital Delivery Leadership
  • Lead digital delivery strategies that improve coordination, information management, quality, and delivery consistency across Infrastructure projects and programs.
  • Advance the practical adoption of Infrastructure digital delivery practices, including BIM, VDC, common data environments, model-based workflows, and connected project delivery approaches that support stronger outcomes for project teams and clients.
  • Vendor partnership leader for Autodesk & Bentley Systems.
  • Translate Infrastructure BOU and IDP project delivery priorities into clear, repeatable processes, standards, and delivery expectations that can be applied across sectors, regions, and major programs.

Project Enablement and Governance
  • Partners with BOU project managers, discipline leaders, digital delivery coordinators, and IDP technical teams to establish digital delivery plans, CDE approaches, model governance, and project workflows that support successful execution.
  • Assist the Practice Support Leader - Major Projects, to ensure digital delivery practices align with client requirements, Infrastructure delivery models, contractual needs, information exchange expectations, and internal quality standards.
  • Monitor digital delivery health across active work, identify execution risks and improvement opportunities, and help teams resolve issues early through practical governance, coordination, and support.

Performance Management and Continuous Improvement
  • Develop reporting and performance measures that provide visibility into adoption, compliance, model health, coordination, delivery risk, and business value across the Infrastructure portfolio.
  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying process gaps, scaling leading practices, and helping project teams adopt more effective ways of working across the Infrastructure BOU.
  • Support the advancement of data, automation, and AI-enabled delivery practices by helping teams apply these capabilities in practical ways that improve project performance, decision making, and scalability.

Leadership, Collaboration, and Client Engagement
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to the IDP Project Delivery & Implementation team, Infrastructure digital delivery staff, practice support resources, and project teams operating across a distributed environment.
  • Build strong relationships with Infrastructure leadership, operations teams, project teams, clients, and external partners to align digital practices with business goals and delivery success.
  • Contribute to pursuits, strategic initiatives, and client discussions by articulating the value of Infrastructure digital delivery and helping shape practical solutions that strengthen Stantec's delivery model.

Education and Experience
  • A bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in digital delivery, BIM, VDC, design technology, or project delivery leadership within the infrastructure sector.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or leading digital delivery across complex infrastructure projects, multi-disciplinary programs, or geographically distributed portfolios.
  • Certifications related to BIM, project management, digital delivery, platform administration, or information management.
  • Experience applying automation, analytics, AI-enabled workflows, or connected data practices to improve infrastructure project delivery and team performance.

Technical and Delivery Knowledge
  • Strong working knowledge of infrastructure-focused digital delivery, common data environments, model governance, information management, and coordination practices.
  • Experience with key Infrastructure platform ecosystems such as ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360, Civil 3D, OpenRoads, MicroStation, Revit, Navisworks, and related reporting or analytics tools.
  • Understanding of infrastructure project delivery lifecycles, quality and coordination requirements, client digital expectations, and information standards such as ISO 19650.

Pay Range:
• Locations in NYC & CA (Bay Area) & NJ (RP)-$190,500.00 - $295,300.00 Annually
Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
Benefits Summary: Regular full-time and part-time employees (working at least 20 hours per week) have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave. Regular full-time and part-time employees will receive ten paid holidays in each calendar year. In addition, employees will be eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick leave (and if more generous, in accordance with state and local law).
Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.
