Job description

Hearst Television is seeking a Digital AdOps Analyst to manage and optimize reporting processes, platforms and data pipelines for digital advertising operations and campaign management. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate data collection, seamless data integration, and maintaining reporting systems to provide actionable insights for campaign management. You will work closely with AdOps, analytics, and sales teams to ensure seamless integration of data across platforms and deliver reports that drive informed decision-making. This position requires expertise in digital advertising platforms, data analysis, and reporting tools. You will reports to the Director, Digital Ad Platforms.

This role requires in-office presence. Candidates may be considered for this role at any Hearst Television location. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Data and Reporting 
    • Monitor platform performance and address technical issues to maintain data accuracy.
    • Identify and resolve data discrepancies across platforms to ensure consistent reporting.
    • Oversee the integration of platforms with reporting dashboards and data pipelines for accurate and efficient data flow.
    • Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and Ad Tech Ops teams to develop and implement automated solutions for data integration and campaign management.
    • Continuously assess and enhance reporting workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
    • Identify and implement opportunities to automate reporting processes and workflows, reducing manual effort and increasing productivity.
    • Develop, document, and standardize reporting processes and best practices to ensure consistency and reliability.
    • Manage and maintain data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration between data sources and reporting platforms.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues specifically related to HTV's Power BI dashboards, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Platforms Access and Audit Controls
    • Manage processes for platforms access requests
    • Execute any audit control requirements under direction of management including:
      • Roles/permissions across all platforms in HTVs digital ad stack
      • Ensuring compliance with established internal control procedures
      • Regularly test and audit access levels, workflow and segregation of duties controls according to established HTV best practices
      • Create and maintain any pertinent documentation

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in reporting platforms, data pipelines, or ad operations roles.
  • Expertise in digital advertising platforms such as Google Ad Manager, DV360, The Trade Desk, or similar .
  • Expertise in reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
  • Strong knowledge of order management systems (OMS), workflow platforms, and ad trafficking processes.
  • Proficiency in analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics).
  • Familiarity with APIs and data integration processes for reporting purposes.
  • Familiarity with tag management systems (e.g., Google Tag Manager) and troubleshooting ad tags.
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL) is a plus.

Compensation

The estimated base salary range for this role is between $88,000 and $115,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, market demands and conditions, including geographic location where the work will be performed, and other factors permitted by law. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
