Content Site Manager - Senior

Position / LCAT: Content Site Manager Level: Senior Lead Designation: N/A Location: Fort Belvoir, VA

Role Summary

Assists in aligning processes and technology to enable information sharing by analysts and organizations for analytic production. Uses centralized and peripheral databases, content management, records management systems and shapes workflow and processes. Compiles reports on performance and usage metrics and future requirements for existing knowledge management capabilities including, but not limited to, search, discovery, storage and retrieval of data and formal production and taskings. Disseminates intelligence products across separate networks and portals (per PWS Task Area 1, Section 4.2 - DCD Digital Content Management).

Responsibilities
  • Align processes and technology to enable information sharing by analysts and organizations for analytic production
  • Use centralized and peripheral databases, content management, and records management systems to shape workflow and processes
  • Compile reports on performance and usage metrics and future requirements for existing knowledge management capabilities, including search, discovery, storage and retrieval of data, and formal production and taskings
  • Disseminate intelligence products across separate networks and portals
  • Maintain all DCD intelligence content websites by keeping them relevant and up to date with current and validated intelligence content 
  • Conduct quality control checks of all links/URLs on DCD intelligence content sites; identify broken links and replace them; conduct QC once per week for all DCD managed websites and portals 
  • Populate hosted SharePoint portals for intelligence organizations or units with relevant intelligence content aligned with their mission needs 
  • Ensure newly identified products are tracked on the Master Intelligence Content Management tracker; perform comprehensive review of the tracker once each quarter to identify dissemination gaps; remedy gaps within 10 business days of discovery 
  • Maintain and update web-enabled portals for crisis actions or contingency operations, establishing crisis knowledge centers 
  • Establish a plan for Crisis Portals within 2 business days of tasking and populate within 5 business days 
  • Maintain a customer-facing web-accessible interactive index hosted on a specified mission network 
  • Draft and maintain SOPs documenting all content management tasks; provide revisions every 6 months - supports CDRL A009 - Content Management SOPs and Management Tasks
Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of the labor category activities required to meet mission requirements
  • Demonstrates mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursues developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology
  • Demonstrates ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks
  • Demonstrates in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulates key findings
  • Demonstrates ability to work independently and with minimal oversight
  • Demonstrates ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions; routinely tests analytic rigor of analytic products
  • Required Experience: 10 years demonstrated experience in an intelligence discipline working in the DoD or IC within the last 2 years
  • Required Experience: Advanced Experience using Microsoft SharePoint
  • Current DoD Top Secret / SCI Security Clearance with ability to obtain
Preferred Qualifications
  • Desired Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years
  • Desired Education: Bachelor's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
  • Desired Education: Associates degree with 7 years' experience in an intelligence discipline OR High School Diploma with 9 years' experience in an intelligence discipline
