Job Summary:
Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. They are seeking an Administrator, Web Content Lead to assist with the management of web environment design, deployment, development, and maintenance activities, focusing on digital content development and user experience. The role involves overseeing digital communication channels, leading change processes for web pages, and providing guidance to junior staff.
Responsibilities:
• Oversees digital communication channels, mini-sites, and applications to align with corporate communication strategy and technology roadmaps. Works with website developers and editorial content contributors to meet business needs and requirements, while also identifying new opportunities. Maintains and advances internet and intranet web content and integrated applications. Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and coaches business units and function groups to create consistent, value-oriented messaging.
• Lead the change processes for all sections of internal and/or customer-facing web pages. Perform constant quality assurance and proofreading checks to ensure all products are posted properly and with accuracy, including correct language, grammar, spelling, and style and compliance with section 508.
• Provides leadership and guidance to junior staff by overseeing the development of website technical architecture, database design, and user interface including programming requirements. Participates in various aspects of website design, content development, web analytics, testing, content management, and usability testing. Understands reviewing web analytics to ensure good web design and usability standards are met.
• Maintains, edits, approves, and publishes web content with periodic audits. Develop detailed test plans, execute system test cases, and provide feedback. Develops and recommends solutions based on business analysis.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree.
• 8 years’ experience in web content management with progressively responsible web project management experience.
• In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
Preferred:
• Ability to work independently to manage multiple projects while keeping content owners informed of the progress of their general web edits and aware of any potential problems. – Expert.
• Ability to think globally and understand how content edits on one area of any particular web property may impact other areas of and/or related websites. – Expert.
• Ability to communicate challenges in a non-technical manner to internal content/business owners is important. – Expert.
• Proficiency with web content management systems (TeamSite, SharePoint, etc.). – Expert.
• Proficiency with web usability methodology and standards. – Expert.
• Expertise with web development software and coding (i.e. Dreamweaver, Adobe Professional, HTML, CSS, etc.). – Advanced.
• Experience with managing digital media, including web-based video, audio files. – Advanced.
