Job Summary
Artemis is seeking a Digital Communications Specialist to support the strategic direction, development, and execution of digital outreach campaigns. This role helps plan and deliver digital content that advances program awareness and engagement across web, social, and other digital channels.
The Digital Communications Specialist role requires a self-starter, proactive problem solver and action-oriented team player with previous experience in planning and executing digital outreach campaigns. This position needs an individual that is committed to providing superior service, poised under pressure and has a positive and flexible attitude.
This is a contingent hire position. Offers will be contingent upon client approval, ability to meet security requirements, and the ability to adhere to any on-site requirements (which may change at contract award).
Remote work is anticipated. However, all candidates should be local to the Washington, DC metro area as on-site work may be required.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning the strategic direction, development, and execution of digital outreach campaigns.
  • Develop and schedule digital content across web, social media, and email channels.
  • Monitor digital campaign performance and support reporting on engagement metrics.
  • Coordinate with designers and content developers to produce digital assets.
  • Support efforts to grow program awareness through digital channels.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 2 years of demonstrated experience assisting in the planning for the strategic direction, development, and execution of digital outreach campaigns.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Digital Communications, Graphic Design, Information Technology, Media or Studio Arts, or a related field.
  • Experience developing and managing content across web, social media, and email channels.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance/DHS suitability determination.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
