Job description

The Brand & Digital Communications Specialist is a hands-on, highly organized marketing professional responsible for executing digital marketing, website, social media, content, and brand initiatives for Rennes Group. This position plays an important role in strengthening brand awareness, attracting prospective residents and employees, supporting referral development, and promoting the experiences offered throughout Rennes Group communities. The specialist will manage day-to-day digital platforms, create engaging visual and written content, support advertising campaigns, maintain website content, and help ensure marketing projects move from concept through completion. This position will be expected to manage multiple projects, take ownership of assignments, respectfully challenge ideas when improvements can be made, and collaborate closely with internal teams, campus leaders, and external vendors.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain Rennes Group's social media platforms, including developing, scheduling, publishing, and monitoring engaging content.
  • Create high-quality graphics, advertisements, photography, video, and other visual content that consistently reflects Rennes Group's brand.
  • Maintain and update company websites to ensure information is accurate, current, user-friendly, and aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Apply search engine optimization best practices to improve website visibility, search performance, and targeted traffic.
  • Develop written content for social media, websites, advertisements, press releases, blogs, news stories, recruitment initiatives, and other communications.
  • Support digital advertising campaigns designed to attract prospective residents, employees, referral partners, and community members.
  • Monitor website, social media, and advertising performance and recommend opportunities to improve engagement and results.
  • Identify emerging marketing trends, platforms, and creative strategies that could strengthen brand awareness and expand audience reach.
  • Attend bi-monthly marketing meetings within designated Rennes Group markets and help drive appropriate projects and follow-up activities.
  • Coordinate assigned marketing projects from concept through approval, production, distribution, and completion.
  • Provide marketing and promotional support for recruiting initiatives, campus events, sponsorships, awards, community partnerships, and business development efforts.
  • Collaborate with campus leaders, regional team members, recruiters, vendors, and creative partners to gather information and produce effective marketing materials.
  • Coordinate the production and delivery of printed materials, promotional items, signage, advertisements, digital content, and other branded resources.
  • Maintain organized project records, content libraries, platform access, deadlines, approvals, and vendor communications while performing other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, website management, and search engine optimization (SEO).
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Canva; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to proofread and maintain brand consistency.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
  • Creative thinker who proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and innovative marketing solutions.
  • Professional, dependable, adaptable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new software and marketing technologies.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital media, public relations, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in digital marketing, communications, website management, or a related field.
  • Experience managing websites and implementing SEO strategies strongly preferred.
  • Experience with social media management, digital advertising, and content creation required.
  • Experience in healthcare, senior living, or hospitality marketing preferred.
