Sunline Products is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our accounting department. This position works directly with our Bookkeeper, assisting with daily clerical and bookkeeping responsibilities to ensure our financial records remain accurate and organized.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow in an accounting or bookkeeping career while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing
  • Enter invoices, payments, and financial data accurately
  • Scan, file, and organize accounting records (digital and paper)
  • Match purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents
  • Process customer payments and assist with collections documentation
  • Prepare bank deposits and assist with reconciliations
  • Answer phones and assist with general office correspondence
  • Maintain organized filing systems and accounting records
  • Assist with payroll-related administrative tasks as needed
  • Support the Bookkeeper and management with special projects
  • Perform general clerical duties including copying, filing, and data entry

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous clerical, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and QuickBooks
  • Strong data entry and 10-key skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Dependable attendance and a positive attitude
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
