As a workforce consulting generalist at PwC, you will provide clients with comprehensive support and drive end-to-end organisation and talent transformation initiatives to support the overall strategy of the organisation, applying a breadth of understanding of organisational and workforce consulting solutions across topics such as workforce strategy, talent development, rewards, organisational design to improve employee experience and organisational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • 70 to 80% of your time: deliver with our talented PwC professionals on high-profile engagements across diverse and challenging opportunities in areas such as:
    • People & Talent Strategies
    • HR Function Effectiveness and Design
    • HR of the Future in the Agentic AI Era
    • People change and organization design and implementation
    • HR Technology Assessment and Roadmap (SAP, Oracle, Workday, Microsoft, etc.)
    • Workforce Planning & Analytics
    • Skills-Based Organization and Economy
  • 20 to 30% of your time: Engage in growing our practice and our market presence, identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities, building proposals and attending client meetings. Putting together clear and compelling sales decks. Participate in fostering a culture of collaboration, entrepreneurship, continuous learning, and excellence. Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, speaking at industry events to position PwC as a leader in HR transformation. Plan and deliver cutting-edge HR technology solutions and methodologies, including AI, data analytics, and digital platforms, to optimize HR processes and decision-making.

  • Ideal candidate will have experience working in a Consulting setting.
  • Will be able to deliver services in industries such as Energy, Utilities, Public Sector, Healthcare, Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing and Telecom, showing leadership and confidence.
  • Technical understanding of the HR function and its various domains including Business HR, HR Operations, Talent Management, Change Management and Organizational Design, Talent Acquisition, and Total Rewards.
  • You are ambitious in building your technical depth and breadth.
  • Exposure to cloud-based technology implementations, including but not limited to Cloud based technology, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Microsoft Viva either from an Org Design or Process Design perspective.
  • You communicate (written and verbal) with impact, build collaborative and harmonious relationships with your colleagues while being rigorous about client service.
  • You engage productively in complex, changing environments.

The salary range for this position is $58,400 - $97,500 The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm‑wide achievements. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
