Job description

  • Our Hybrid Workplace Policy establishes that associates need to have a reliable transportation to and from our corporate head office located in Boucherville (Quebec), to come to the office on a regular basis.

  • We require all our head office associates to be proficient in French, spoken and written.

  • 3 days office / 2 days remote

At RONA, our employees let their passion blossom every day. Our teams are driven by the desire to help people bring their projects to life and are committed to making a difference in the communities we serve.

We operate or service corporate and affiliated dealer stores. With a distinctive product and service offering and complementary store formats ranging from neighbourhood hardware stores to big box stores, our RONA+, RONA and Dick’s Lumber banners are well equipped to help meet the needs of all DIYers and contractors.

You’ve got the talent? We’ve got the tools! Here, your work and ideas will contribute to building a flourishing organization. Your voice will always be heard and valued. You’ll find career opportunities that live up to your ambitions and be able to further develop your unique set of skills.

So, if you’re looking to do what you love, we could be a perfect match.

Our expectations

As a Digital Product Manager at RONA, you will play a pivotal role in the Digital Product team in driving the success and shaping the future of our online retail platforms (e-commerce websites, mobile applications and internal user tools).

You will drive product strategy, development, and optimization to enhance the customer journey, increase conversion rates, and drive revenue growth. With your strategic vision and data-driven approach, you will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver innovative solutions that exceed customer expectations and drive business results.

Your role

Product Strategy

Partner with Product Leadership, UX, Engineering and Digital Business teams to define and execute a scalable product strategy for RONA.ca's core digital experiences (including PLP, PDP, and Browse), aligning execution with broader e-commerce and business goals.

Product Execution

Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle for core RONA.ca experiences by performing product discovery, requirements gathering, iterative development and backlog management processes, while establishing high product standards and prioritization frameworks that balance immediate optimizations with long-term scalability across future digital domains.

User Experience Optimization

Maximize RONA.ca's traffic, conversion, and engagement by leveraging web analytics, data layer insights, and A/B testing to identify pain points, prioritize the backlog, and deliver high-performing, SEO-optimized, and accessible frontend components.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Act as the central translator between business requirements and technical execution to align marketing, content, operations, and engineering, while managing strategic relationships with internal and external technology partners and third-party service providers across the e-commerce ecosystem.

Performance Tracking

Evaluate product success by tracking core e-commerce metrics, leveraging data and customer feedback to prioritize optimization opportunities, and presenting performance insights to stakeholders and leadership.

User & Customer Research

Lead discovery initiatives-using interviews, usability testing, and analytics data-to uncover customer and internal team needs, partner with UX to validate prototypes, and build strong business cases for the product roadmap.

The qualifications we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of product management or product owner experience in the e-commerce industry, preferably within retail or consumer goods.

  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing e-commerce products and features that drive business value.

  • Strong understanding of e-commerce technologies, platforms, and best practices.

  • Experience with agile development methodologies, user-centered design principles, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels and presentation skills.

  • Passion for e-commerce, innovation, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

By joining the RONA family, you’ll enjoy many benefits, such as:

  • A childcare centre that can accommodate up to 78 children

  • A cafeteria with a delicious menu prepared by a dedicated chef, healthy options, as well as FARO Roasting Houses and Tim Hortons coffee stations

  • Electric car charging stations

  • A fitness centre, sports activities, and showers

  • Exclusive employee discounts, plus a 10% discount on store merchandise (at all RONA locations)

  • Benefits: retirement savings plan, annual bonuses, student incentive program, etc.

  • Career growth opportunities within the company

  • An inclusive and safe working environment

  • Promotion of work-life balance

  • An employer that’s involved in the community

  • And much more!

If selected for an interview, please advise our Human Resources team if you require accommodation during the interview and assessment process and we will work with you to meet your accessibility needs.
