Job description

We are looking for a performance-focused Digital Marketing Specialist to support customer acquisition efforts for a Financial Services organization in Greenville, South Carolina. In this role, you will manage paid digital initiatives, evaluate campaign results, and uncover opportunities to strengthen lead generation across search and other online channels. This position is well suited for someone who combines analytical thinking with creativity and enjoys improving performance through testing, optimization, and market awareness.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily execution of paid search initiatives across leading advertising platforms, ensuring campaigns run efficiently and align with acquisition goals.
• Refine bids, audience settings, targeting parameters, and ad variations to improve engagement, conversion rates, and return on spend.
• Review campaign data regularly, identify meaningful trends, and provide practical recommendations to enhance overall performance.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to coordinate launches, support optimizations, and maintain campaign effectiveness.
• Create and iterate ad copy and messaging strategies through structured testing to improve response and lead quality.
• Research shifts in digital marketing trends, competitor activity, and changes in search behavior to inform campaign decisions.
• Evaluate expansion opportunities in additional paid channels, including social platforms and other digital advertising environments.
• Track brand visibility across both traditional search engines and AI-influenced discovery experiences to help maintain market presence.
• Assist with budget monitoring, invoice coordination, performance reporting, and other marketing projects as business needs evolve.• 2+ years of experience in paid media, digital marketing, demand generation, or a closely related field.
• Practical experience managing campaigns within Google Ads and/or Microsoft Ads.
• Working knowledge of keyword planning, bidding approaches, audience targeting, attribution models, and conversion tracking.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn performance data into clear, actionable insights.
