The Role

The Manager, eCommerce & Digital Strategies is responsible for developing and executing digital commerce strategies that maximize revenue, improve online conversion, and optimize hotel performance across a portfolio of full & select service branded hotels. This role partners closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Brand teams to ensure digital channels, distribution platforms, and revenue-generating initiatives are aligned with each hotel’s commercial strategy.

What You will Be Doing
  • Develop and execute digital revenue strategies across a portfolio of hotels.
  • Identify opportunities to increase direct bookings and improve digital channel performance.
  • Partner with Revenue Management to align digital initiatives with pricing, demand, and commercial objectives.
  • Monitor booking trends, conversion metrics, and channel performance to maximize revenue.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify revenue opportunities.
Digital Advertising & Revenue Generation
  • OTA Travel Ads through Expedia, Booking.com, Trip.com, etc.
  • Direct Campaigns like Google Hotel Ads, Metasearch, Brand and non-branded paid search
  • Market-level paid media campaigns, Co-op marketing opportunities
  • Consult with Revenue Management on promotional programs, including Accelerators and other brand initiatives.
  • Evaluate campaign performance and optimize investments to maximize return on ad spend.
Distribution & Channel Optimization
  • Optimize hotel visibility and conversion across brand.com and third-party distribution channels.
  • Conduct OTA and brand website audits to improve content quality and conversion performance.
  • Manage OTA content scores and ensure brand.com merchandising remains accurate and competitive.
  • Optimize room type descriptions, photography, amenities, and merchandising to improve booking conversion.
  • Recommend enhancements that improve digital performance and guest booking experience.
Promotions & Commercial Campaigns
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management to develop revenue-generating offers, packages, and promotional strategies.
  • Publish and maintain offers across brand websites and distribution channels.
  • Coordinate promotional implementation with Marketing, Social Media, and Brand teams.
  • Support email marketing and other digital initiatives that promote revenue-focused campaigns.
Digital Asset & Vendor Management
  • Lead hotel photography assessments and digital asset audits.
  • Coordinate photography vendors and oversee image collection, organization, and implementation.
  • Manage digital asset libraries across brand websites, OTA channels, and distribution platforms.
  • Support hotel openings, renovations, acquisitions, and transitions through content migration and digital asset implementation.
Distribution Marketing
  • Partner with Sales on GDS advertising opportunities, Spotlight Ads, and other distribution marketing initiatives.
  • Evaluate emerging distribution channels and advertising opportunities that support revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with Brand partners on channel-specific merchandising opportunities.
SEO & Digital Performance
  • Oversee SEO strategy through agency and vendor partnerships.
  • Monitor website performance, search visibility, and conversion metrics.
  • Analyze digital performance and provide actionable recommendations that improve online revenue.
  • Deliver regular reporting on digital channel performance, campaign results, and commercial opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Revenue Management to align digital commerce strategies with revenue objectives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on website content updates, promotional messaging, and content strategy.
  • Support Sales and Operations with digital initiatives that drive transient and group business.
  • Maintain strong relationships with hotel brand eCommerce teams, digital vendors, and technology partners.
