Fox TV StationsFOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. KDFW FOX 4 is looking for a Digital Content Creator who is passionate about news, storytelling, audience engagement, and creating content that connects with viewers wherever they consume information.

As part of one of the nation's leading local news organizations, you'll help drive FOX 4's digital coverage across web, streaming, mobile, social, and emerging platforms. You'll work in a fast-paced newsroom where breaking news, trending topics, and audience interests shape the day's priorities, creating content that informs, engages, and grows our digital audiences.

We're entering an exciting new chapter at FOX 4. Soon, our team will move into a brand-new, state-of-the-art broadcast and digital media facility designed to support innovation, collaboration, and the future of local journalism. This is an opportunity to join a market-leading newsroom, collaborate with journalists across the FOX Television Stations group, and create content that reaches millions of users across FOX LOCAL, Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and other digital platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Create compelling, audience-focused content driven by user experience, including text stories, photos, graphics, live streaming content, and social media posts.
  • Dig beyond the headlines to identify, develop, and publish engaging news and feature content.
  • Reach and engage millions of FOX 4 followers across FOX LOCAL, Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and other digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with the FOX Television Stations Group Content team to distribute high-interest stories across FOX-owned stations nationwide.
  • Monitor and act upon real-time analytics, Google Trends, audience behavior, and emerging topics to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Apply SEO and audience development best practices to improve content discoverability, user engagement, and overall digital performance.
  • Identify opportunities to experiment with new storytelling formats, platform features, and emerging digital trends.
  • Produce content optimized for web, mobile, streaming, social media, and search platforms.
  • Support breaking news coverage with urgency, accuracy, and strong editorial judgment.
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary and assigned.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience developing and publishing content, including news content, on digital and social platforms preferred.
  • BA/BS degree, preferably in Journalism, Communications, or a related field with an emphasis on digital publishing.
  • Excellent writer and storyteller.
  • Superior news judgment.
  • Impeccable writing and copy-editing skills.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $55,000.00-65,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
