Title: Director, Digital Acquisition and Growth Strategy
Department: Global Growth Marketing
Reports To: Senior Director, Global Campaigns and Digital
Location: Remote / Hybrid
About the Role
OutSystems is seeking a strategic, data-driven, and forward-thinking Director, Digital Acquisition and Growth Strategy to lead a pivotal functional pillar within our Global Growth Marketing organization.
In this role, you will serve as the central analytics, reporting, and optimization authority for the entire Global Campaigns and Digital function - upleveling our measurement frameworks, account-based funnel insights, and growth strategy. You will also directly own our organic search and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) strategy, programmatic content syndication programs, paid third-party channels, and lifecycle email governance.
Working alongside established channel leaders and specialized agency partners, you will provide strategic media capital governance, cross-channel orchestration, and operational alignment to maximize pipeline velocity and capital efficiency across our global growth engine.
Key Responsibilities
1. Growth Measurement, Analytics & Account Funnel Strategy
  • Growth Analytics Authority: Serve as the strategic measurement lead for the entire Global Growth Marketing organization, designing, standardizing, and evolving cross-functional performance frameworks.
  • Account-Based Funnel Metrics: Track, analyze, and optimize full-funnel account progression metrics (Target Account engagement, MQL/SQL velocity, pipeline creation, and closed-won revenue impact).
  • Executive Dashboarding: Build, maintain, and uplevel performance reporting dashboards using GA4, CRM platforms, and internal BI tools to translate complex datasets into actionable growth recommendations for executive leadership.
  • Cross-Channel Optimization: Identify growth bottlenecks and conversion drop-offs across channels, driving data-informed recommendations to improve overall marketing productivity.

2. SEO & Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) Strategy
  • AEO & Generative AI Search Ownership: Own OutSystems' visibility and positioning across emerging AI answer engines (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude), directing prompt optimization, content discovery, and brand authority strategies.
  • Traditional SEO Leadership: Guide enterprise organic search strategy, technical site architecture health, and keyword taxonomy to drive high-intent organic acquisition.
  • Team & Agency Leadership: Directly manage in-house search specialists, specialized external AEO strategists, and enterprise agency partners.
  • Search Intelligence Stack: Drive strategy and operational adoption across search intelligence platforms (e.g., Ahrefs, BrightEdge, Profound, Google Search Console).

3. Programmatic Content Syndication & Email Governance
  • Content Syndication Programs: Own strategy, vendor selection, budget allocation, and ROI for programmatic content syndication platforms, paid email sponsorships, and paid webinar programs.
  • Lead Quality & Ingestion: Standardize lead validation, target account match rates, and automated ingestion workflows for syndicated lead sources to maximize sales acceptance and conversion.
  • Lifecycle Email Governance: Establish global email governance protocols across growth campaigns to maintain domain health, optimize deliverability, and maximize database engagement.

4. Strategic Activation & Media Capital Governance
  • Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing DASO team, fostering an operational culture rooted in data rigor, experimentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Media Capital Governance: Provide strategic portfolio oversight, budget governance, and high-level allocation direction across performance media channels.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Partner closely with internal channel leads (e.g., Performance Media, Lifecycle, Field Marketing) and global agency networks to align acquisition strategies with overall company revenue targets.

What We're Looking For
  • Experience: 8-10+ years of progressive leadership experience in digital growth marketing, marketing operations, or strategy within Enterprise B2B SaaS.
  • Analytics & Funnel Mastery: Proven track record as an analytics authority for growth teams, with deep expertise in GA4, CRM/BI platforms, and account-based funnel metrics (target account engagement, pipeline velocity, MQL/SQL progression).
  • Search & AEO Vision: Expertise in modern enterprise SEO combined with a proactive strategy for Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and generative AI discovery.
  • Syndication & Programmatic Expertise: Demonstrated success managing programmatic content syndication platforms, third-party vendor relationships, and database governance.
  • Strategic Leadership: Low-ego, highly structured leader capable of managing specialized teams and external agency partners while providing elevated strategic governance to mature channel functions.
  • Communication: Ability to distill complex performance data into clear, compelling growth narratives for senior executives and cross-functional partners.
