Location: Fort Worth, TX (Onsite)
Requirements
The Role
We are looking for someone who can work directly with enterprise customers to design, build, and deliver cloud foundations that support large-scale migration programs. This is a consulting role with real hands-on depth. You will not just advise, you will build alongside delivery teams and own the technical outcomes.
1. Design and implement Azure Landing Zones (CAF/ALZ) with governance, networking, identity, and security baselines
2. Define cloud migration strategies for application rehosting/refactoring, database migrations, SAP workloads, and hybrid architectures
3. Build and optimize Infrastructure CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (YAML pipelines, service connections, environments, approvals) with Terraform as the primary IaC tool
4. Design Terraform module architectures including reusable modules, remote state management, workspace strategies, and drift detection for enterprise-scale environments
5. Establish governance frameworks using Azure Policy, RBAC, cost management, tagging strategies, and compliance guardrails, all deployed and enforced through CI/CD
6. Lead migration assessments and execution including discovery, wave planning, cutover coordination, and validation
7. Advise on multi-cloud strategies where AWS complements the Azure-primary footprint
8. Guide and mentor delivery teams through complex technical decisions
Good to have:
Azure certifications (Solutions Architect Expert, DevOps Engineer Expert)
AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Professional)
SAP on Azure migration experience
Experience with Azure Migrate, Database Migration Service, or similar tooling
Background in regulated industries (pharma, financial services, manufacturing)
Job responsibilities
  • 8+ years in cloud infrastructure with deep hands-on experience in Azure
  • Expert-level Terraform skills including modules, providers, state management, workspaces, CI/CD integration, and managing large multi-environment deployments
  • Deep Azure DevOps experience with YAML pipelines, multi-stage deployments, variable groups, service connections, release gates, and artifact management for infrastructure delivery
  • Proven track record delivering Landing Zones at enterprise scale (hub-spoke networking, management groups, policy-as-code via Terraform)
  • Strong experience with cloud migrations, at least 2-3 large-scale programs involving application, database, or SAP workloads
  • Solid understanding of Infrastructure CI/CD patterns like plan/apply workflows, automated testing, drift detection, and governed promotion across environments
  • Working knowledge of AWS (networking, IAM, core services) as a secondary cloud
  • Ability to consult at the executive level and translate technical complexity into business decisions
  • Experience leading or guiding delivery teams through migrations without being a people manager
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-moving enterprise environments
