The Opportunity

The Sales Account Manager - Fleet Sales is responsible for growing the Valvoline Fleet business by further developing, calling on, and servicing national accounts. This position will have extensive knowledge of Valvoline Instant Oil Change fleet pricing guidelines, franchisee expectations of fleet pricing, customer needs, and opportunities for growth.The position will help create and execute a selling platform, marketing programs, and account specific promotions that deliver strategic growth.Relationship building with the national accounts is critical to the success of this role. This includes customer site visits, and various face-to-face interactions at domestic locations throughout the United States

How You'll Make a Difference

  • Developing and enriching relationships with national fleet accounts, particularly the largest such customers in the VIOC network.
  • Assessing and diagnosing business, marketing, supply chain, legal, customer service, and training needs and delivering appropriate customized solutions for maximizing Valvoline fleet growth for today and into the future.
  • Business reviews - analyzing performance of each account and identifying strategy for growth.
  • Transferring product and sales knowledge to motivate, train or coach personnel to increase sales and retention.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Minimum three years' sales experience
  • Familiarity with DIFM automotive or heavy-duty market experience
  • Strong track record of sales territory and account growth
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Change Management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Understands industry trends
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
