Your job duties include developing meal plans and creating menus, managing inventory and ordering food, supervising staff, and making sure food preparation practices meet quality standards and food safety laws. In some food services facilities, particularly in the medical field, you collaborate with nutritionists and dietitians to select healthy food options for patients or clients.
