Dietary Aide

Job Summary:

Vered Healthcare Group is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team in Dania Beach, Florida. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional food service to our residents while ensuring a clean and safe environment. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional care and have a strong commitment to teamwork, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the service and delivery of food trays to designated areas

  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes

  • Prepare and deliver snacks as directed

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Dietitian/Director of Food Services

  • Treat all residents with dignity and respect, promoting and protecting their rights

  • Maintain confidentiality of protected health information

  • Participate in all life safety and emergency drills and trainings

  • Report work-related injuries and illnesses immediately to supervisor

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

  • Must be a supportive team member, contribute to, and be an example of teamwork

  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action

  • Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public

  • Must have patience, tact, and willingness to deal with difficult residents, family, and staff

  • Must not pose a threat to the health and safety of other individuals in the workplace

  • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday

  • Meet general health requirements according to facility policy

Schedule:

  • FT dietary aide position

  • 30-34 hours per week
