Do you have 3+ years of mechanical experience and want to advance your career with the industry leader in agricultural equipment?

AKRS Equipment is seeking experienced mechanics to join our 12-month Technician Apprentice Program (FastTrack). This company-paid development program is designed to help skilled mechanics become John Deere Certified Technicians through hands-on experience, classroom instruction, mentorship, and John Deere certifications.

This is not an entry-level apprenticeship. We're looking for mechanics with a solid mechanical foundation who are ready to develop specialized expertise in John Deere equipment.

What You'll Do:

  • Work alongside experienced John Deere Certified Technicians
  • Perform diagnostics testing and repair John Deere equipment
  • Participate in monthly technical training
  • Learn John Deere Service Center software
  • Develop advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Complete John Deere certification courses
  • Build the confidence and technical knowledge to become a Certified John Deere Technician
