Mercedes-Benz of Indianapolis is hiring Experienced Diesel Technicians / Mechanics

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 Years of Automotive Diesel Technician Experience Required
  • Previous experience in an Automotive Dealership is a Plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Self-motivated and professional
  • Must have own tools
  • Valid Driver's License Required 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment
  • Read job order and discuss with Advisors and Management to plan and resolve malfunction
  • Follow checklists ensuring all critical parts are examined
  • Test-drive vehicles to ensure complete repair
  • Continue to attend any relevant and necessary training as assigned
  • Maintain your designated workspace in an organized and clean manner
  • Adhere to manufacturer’s policies and procedures as they relate to labor operations, time, and repair order documentation when performing warranty repairs and torque specifications
  • Any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and or management
