Service Electrician - Generator & Compressors Division

Huston’s Generator Service Division is looking for experienced technicians who take pride in their work and bring strong troubleshooting skills to the table. If you have hands-on experience with diesel and gaseous generators and are ready to be part of a reliable, fast-paced team, we want to hear from you. Apply today with your resume and references!

General Requirements

  • Experience working with diesel and gaseous fueled industrial and residential standby generators and automatic transfer switches.
  • 5 years of experience preferred. 
  • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair generators and transfer switches (certifications in generators, transfer switches, and diesel engines are a plus).
  • Experience performing load bank testing on generators of all sizes.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Able to pass a drug screen and background check.
  • Must have your own hand tools to perform routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call emergency repair rotation.
