Position: Die Cutter Operator

Pay Rate: $27.00 - $32.00 /hourly

Location: Stockton, CA

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

(Some Saturdays may be required. Hours may vary based on production needs)


Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Die Cutter Operator to join our production team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating die-cutting equipment while ensuring high productivity, exceptional quality, and minimal material waste. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience with die-cutting machinery, and a commitment to producing high-quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and monitor die-cutting machinery according to job specifications.
  • Review job tickets, layout sheets, and production samples before beginning each production run.
  • Perform machine make-ready and obtain production approval before running each job.
  • Prepare dies by nicking and rubbering when required.
  • Assemble packaging samples to verify appearance, fit, and functionality.
  • Inspect scores, die alignment, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Compare vinyl materials to die-cut sheets for accuracy and consistency.
  • Continuously inspect materials during production for proper cutting, scoring, and overall quality.
  • Make machine adjustments and corrections quickly to maintain production efficiency.
  • Clear and clean equipment before and after each production run.
  • Remove and properly dispose of waste and foreign materials.
  • Perform routine operational maintenance and minor equipment repairs.
  • Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and production standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality expectations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience setting up and operating die-cutting equipment.
  • Strong understanding of die-cutting processes, machine setup, and production workflows.
