Die Cast Manager

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving production objectives with regards to personnel, material, capacity, and scrap rate.
  • Directs and coordinates foundry operations in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area
  • Responsible for foundry production goals and staffing requirements
  • Optimizes quality control within the foundry department
  • Implements OEE concept within the foundry
  • Responsible for implementation and maintenance of 5S program within the department
  • Assures compliance with approved methods and quality standards
  • Fosters a well-trained and motivated staff
  • Responsible for casting quality control
  • Schedules and conducts plant meetings
  • Conducts employee performance reviews
  • Selects and trains supervisory staff
  • Launches new customer projects
  • Provides customer technical support

Qualifications

  • 5 – 7 years’ experience within the die cast industry.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience within a manufacturing plant
  • Proficient computer skills in the use of Microsoft applications.
