Job description

SUNY FMCC is seeking applicants for a full-time tenure-track position to teach in an established JRCERT accredited Radiologic Technology Program. Candidates must be committed to the mission of community colleges and teaching students who have a wide range of academic abilities.
*Salary and Benefits*:
· The annual Instructor base salary is $64,259.
· A comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, a NYS Pension Plan, and other perks to support your professional and personal well-being.
*Responsibilities include but are not limited to: *
· Providing didactic, laboratory course, laboratory simulations, and clinical instruction as assigned.
· Correlating clinical education with didactic education to assure effectiveness.
· Evaluating and facilitating clinical education effectiveness through a schedule of regular visits to the clinical education sites.
· Advising students in matters related to academics, clinical progress, attendance, and behaviors.
· Course and program assessment and planning.
· Ongoing participation in professional development activities relevant to the profession.
*Qualifications:*
· Current NYS Radiologic Technologist license and current ARRT certification in Radiography.
· Three years of clinically based work experience as a licensed Radiologic Technologist.
· A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
· A master'sdegree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education (master’s degree is required prior to receiving tenure).
· Classroom and clinical teaching experience are desired, preferably at the two-year college level.
· The ideal candidate will be multi-credentialed in Medical Imaging, including post primary modalities such as computed tomography (CT), mammography (M), etc.
