Job description

Position Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Complete and supervise geologic research, data compilation, mapping, sampling, geologic interpretation, 3D modelling, drill program design and execution including RC and core logging.  Geologic work 

  • Projects have clear and appropriate decision points that are adhered to, are completed on time and on budget and require minimal supervision by senior staff

  • QAQC procedures are in place and adhered to

  • Designs follow-up work plans, prepares and assists in preparation of annual budget materials

  • Rapidly communicate significant events to senior management

  • Completes monthly progress reports 

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Geology or related field required

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in mining/mineral exploration required

  • Possess a high level of organization and attention to detail, ability to adapt to changing priorities required

  • Familiarity with logging diamond core and RC chips preferred

  • Familiarity with Leapfrog and Acquire software preferred

  • Basic understanding of software architecture, data storage concepts, and system development methodologies required
