Position Summary

As an experienced CNC Machinist, you’ll play a vital part in producing our products. The ideal candidate will ensure that project specifications are met, quality is excellent, and machines are set-up and ran to meet or beat routed times. The CNC Machinist will collaborate cross-functionally to drive growth and transformation.

This role reports directly to the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Write and edit majority of machine code.
  • Perform all setups unassisted.
  • Calculate necessary speeds and feeds to meet or beat routed times.
  • Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Follow all company quality processes, procedures, and standards for job tasks.
  • Keep work area clean and organized; machines maintained.
  • Educational & Technical Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of vocational training a plus.
  • 35 years experience with setup & operation of CNC Machines, extrusion a plus
  • Ability to program using G & M Codes.
  • Ability to use precision tools to take accurate measurements.
  • Proficient at Math with analytical abilities.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Able to follow complicated instructions with precision.
  • Punctual consistent attendance.
