We are seeking a reliable and skilled Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team for early morning specimen collection in Sykesville, Maryland.

Position Summary:

As a 4 AM Mobile Phlebotomist (Contract/Part-Time), you will be responsible for collecting and transporting blood specimens from patients at various locations. This contract/part-time role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols. Job Responsibilities:

  • Verify test requisitions against nursing station logs and address discrepancies with facility personnel

  • Maintain personal safety and proper specimen handling during transport and track mileage as per management guidelines

  • Perform venipunctures while ensuring patient comfort and safety

  • Follow aseptic techniques, department protocols, and isolation procedures to maintain specimen quality

  • Accurately document collection details, including initials, date, and time of collection

  • Adhere to legal and industry standards to maintain a secure and healthy work environment

  • Utilize laboratory information systems to input sample acquisition details

  • Uphold company reputation by maintaining a high standard of service and professional conduct

Required Skills & Qualifications:
