Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (DRT) specialized requirement in Medical Resonance Imageing (MRI) to join our dynamic team at the Veterans Affairs Long Beach Healthcare System (VALBHS).

Work Hours:

  • Monday - Sunday: Between the hours of Midnight - Midnight Including Holidays
  • Lunch or dinner meal periods: employees that works an 8-hourshift shall be entitled to two (2) 15-minute breaks and one (1) 30-minute mealbreak.
  • 40 hours per week.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months of experience for contract staff who have specific experience or trained on an MRI equipment similar to VALBHS MRI scanner (1.5T or 3.0T GE MRI scanner), or minimum of one (1) year of current work experience in MRI modality if contract staff do not have GE MRI scanner experience.
  • Hold a current valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologist ARRT (R) and Advanced ARRT in MRI (MR) certification for MRI modality.
  • Must have demonstrated experience starting Intravenous (IV) and contrast injections. IV certification is preferred but not required.
  • Picture Achieving & Communication Systems (PACS) work experience; however, AGFA PACS experience is preferred but not required.
  • Have basic computer skills. Must be knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Software(e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).
