Role Purpose:

Revenue delivery of +75M euro annual through direct management ACS Sales, Sales Support, GSA Suppliers, & Customer Service functions for the Southern Cone of South America.

How will you contribute to the success of DHL?
  • Across six countries lead the Sales & Customer Service organizations as well as three GSA providers, guiding the development of sales strategies and customer support actions in order to achieve the revenue targets.
  • Negotiate revenue and pricing agreements using data and analysis to maximize revenue contribution.
  • Manage DHL Global Key Accounts in the region in conjunction with the global development initiatives.
  • Develop inside sales and booking team programs to improve customer sales conversion, price quotations, and capacity utilization.
  • Manage the Customer Service team to ensure that customer inquiries, shipment status, and track / trace requests are processed in a timely, customer-centric manner.
  • Manage credit, billing, and collections activities to ensure DHL Order-To-Cash (OTC) and Collections (DSO) performance remains on target.
  • Work with Operations, Hub Management, and Capacity Management using first choice methodology to jointly improve service delivery and capacity utilization performance.
  • Achieve / exceed company employee development & leadership metrics.
  • Achieve customer service satisfaction.
  • Accountable for OTC and DSO performance in geographic area of responsibility.
  • Serve as the "voice of the customer" sharing input with own team as well as service providers to meet and exceed customer expectations. Highlight service delivery shortfalls and organize collaborative meetings with Operations, Capacity Management, and Network Planning to fix service defects.
  • Meet and exceed employee satisfaction targets (EOS) - exceed industry load factors, yields, and Rev per ATK.
Do you have what it takes?
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent management working experience in the Aviation / Air Cargo industry.
  • Minimum of 15 years in Aviation, air freight or integrator industry.
  • 10 years experience in Airfreight Sales.
  • 6+ years management experience.
  • Superior presentation skills. Demonstrated record of developing buy-in of employees.
  • Experience and strong record of achievement driving team efficiencies using a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Fluent in English. Spanish as a second language beneficial.
