Growth Engineer

Dimensional

San Francisco, CA • On-site

Full-time

Re-posted 21 days ago

Job description

About Dimensional
Dimensional is building the foundation for physical intelligence in general-purpose robotics. We develop a unified framework that enables robots to perceive, reason, learn, and act across diverse real-world environments and embodiments. Dimensional's mission is to make physical intelligence programmable, scalable, and accessible -- accelerating the development of generalist robots that can adapt, learn, and perform reliably in the real world.
Our platform sits between robot hardware and AI models, providing a modular, composable architecture for training and deploying robotic intelligence at scale. By abstracting hardware differences and standardizing core capabilities-such as perception, spatial understanding, decision-making, and control-Dimensional allows developers and partners to build, transfer, and operate robotic skills efficiently across platforms.
About the role
You'll own the developer acquisition funnel end-to-end - from first touch to active contributor. You'll figure out what's working, kill what isn't, and build the systems to scale what does. This is not a brand marketing role. You'll be in the data every day, running experiments, and measuring everything.
What you'll do
  • Own the developer growth funnel: awareness → signup → first run → first deployment → active contributor
  • Build and manage email campaigns, activation sequences, and re-engagement flows
  • Run experiments - A/B test onboarding flows, landing pages, email copy, and conversion touchpoints
  • Define growth metrics, build dashboards, and report weekly on what's moving
  • Manage the waitlist and segment users by persona (developers, system integrators, partners)
  • Work with DevRel and Community to amplify content through the right channels at the right time
  • Identify and pursue distribution partnerships - newsletters, developer communities, university programs, conference sponsorships
  • Own SEO and organic acquisition for the website and docs
What we're looking for
  • 3-5 years of experience in growth, developer marketing, or demand gen - ideally at a developer tools or open-source company
  • Highly technical & Agent native, ideally have spent 1-2 years in software engineering
  • Data-driven to the bone - you've built funnels, run experiments, and can talk about conversion rates in your sleep
  • Proficient with growth tooling: ESPs (Loops, Resend, Mailchimp), analytics (Mixpanel, Amplitude, PostHog), CMS, and basic SQL
  • Strong writer - email copy, landing pages, and one-pagers are a core part of the job
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, DevRel, and community without needing permission
  • You've grown something before - a community, a waitlist, a user base - and can show the numbers
  • Bonus: experience with robotics, open-source, or hardware developer communities
  • Bonus: Mandarin fluency
