- Join a team of electrical engineers and experts who'll ensure you receive quality supervision
- Design power systems for a variety of major detailed engineering projects for low- to high-voltage grids, produce engineering deliverables such as electrical plans and diagrams, and participate in protective relay programming
- Draft technical specifications, calculation notes, estimates and study reports
- Coordinate electrical engineering with other disciplines to ensure quality design
- Participate in various system studies such as power flow, harmonics and transients
- Participate in protection and arc flash studies
- Help with various project management tasks, including schedule and cost monitoring
- Perform site surveys and site monitoring during the construction phase
- Participate in pre-operational verifications and commissioning of electrical equipment
- Participate in modernizing existing power grid protection systems to protect individuals and equipment in case of failure
- Propose solutions to mitigate various engineering issues and provide feedback on those proposed by your colleagues
