DevOps Engineer
Location: Annapolis Junction, MD
Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Polygraph (must be within 7 years)
Telework: Up to 16 hours per week (taskdependent)
About the Role
We're looking for a DevOps Engineer who enjoys working across system administration, integration, and modern cloudnative technologies. In this role, you'll support a variety of survey, collection, and geolocation systems-ranging from prototypes to fully operational environments. You'll help ensure these systems are installed, maintained, upgraded, and configured to meet mission needs with reliability and precision.
What You'll Work On
  • Administering, maintaining, and upgrading complex systems across development, test, lab, and operational environments
  • Installing, integrating, and configuring software and hardware components
  • Supporting survey, collection, and geolocation systems
  • Ensuring smooth operation of prototypes and production systems
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to troubleshoot, test, and validate system performance
  • Applying DevSecOps practices to streamline deployments and improve system reliability
  • Experience with:
    • Software and system deployments
    • Linux system administration
    • Containerization
    • Cloud deployments
    • DevSecOps practices
  • Recent (within the last 3 years) handson experience with:
    • Kubernetes
    • Containerization and cluster orchestration
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work across diverse system environments

Qualifications:
Twenty (20) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required. Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems,Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or
university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor'sdegree.
