Job description

Job Summary:
TSC is seeking a DevOps Engineer II to join their engineering team. This role involves taking full ownership of the CI/CD pipeline while developing embedded software for RF sensor products, ensuring quality and efficiency in the development process.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Build Quality Infrastructure: Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks for core software components, including unit, integration, and system-level tests.
โ€ข Architect CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and manage robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Artifactory to ensure seamless build, test, and deployment processes
โ€ข Champion software excellence: Monitor and improve software quality by implementing code reviews, static analysis, and test coverage metrics.
โ€ข Collaborate with Developers: Work closely with a team of 7-10 engineers to identify, debug, and resolve defects early in the development lifecycle.
โ€ข Optimize Linux Environments: Oversee build and deployment processes for Linux-based systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
โ€ข Document Processes: Create and maintain clear documentation for testing and deployment workflows to support team growth and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Education: Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
โ€ข Experience: 3+ years of professional experience developing embedded software.
โ€ข Automation & Scripting Pro: You are proficient with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and have strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python).
โ€ข Testing Guru: You have hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks.
โ€ข Linux Experience: You are familiar with Linux-based development and deployment environments.
โ€ข Tool Savvy: You have a solid understanding of containerization (e.g., Docker) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
โ€ข Problem Solver: You have excellent problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
โ€ข Team Player: You are comfortable supporting a fast-paced engineering team of 7-10 members.
โ€ข Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
โ€ข Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred:
โ€ข Experience with testing FPGA-related software or embedded systems.
โ€ข Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack).
