Azure DevOps Engineer/Administrator

Initial Duration: 15 month Contract/Contract to Hire

Location: 100% Remote working CST hours

Contract type: C2H

PLEASE NOTE: Candidate should have VERY STRONG RECENT FOCUS on AZURE onprem and cloud migrations/Azure Administration. Not looking for AWS or GCP.

Experience and Key Skills:
  • 3+ years of relevant IT experience as a System administrator and Azure DevOps Engineer
  • PowerShell scripting knowledge is a must.
  • Experience in Python and other scripting language is preferred.
  • Experience in supporting production Applications and Infrastructure
  • Experience working in both public and private cloud environments
  • Experience working in various operating systems such as Linux, and Windows Server (preferred)
  • Hands on Experience on Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of IAAS/PAAS on Windows Azure/Private Cloud Platform
  • Knowledge of Azure ILB/AppGateways/Traffic Managers
  • Worked on On prem Infra to Cloud migration projects.
  • Experience on deploying application like Web apps, Web Services and application hosted on IIS/Azure Service Environments/Azure Service Fabric.
  • Hands on Experience on IIS administration.
  • Knowledge of application deployment and Build Repo tools like Azure DevOps/Octopus
  • Knowledge on Kubernetes or AKS is HIGHLY preferred.
  • ITIL certified is a preference.
  • Good Understanding of Networking tools and Network related troubleshooting.
  • ITIL experience and experience on Release and Build deployment experience
  • Understanding of app and infra monitoring tools.
  • Experience on Application Operations and Azure DevOps skills
