Job description

Title: DevOps Administrator
Location: Marlborough MA - Onsite only
Duration: Contract
  • Mid to Senior Tools Administrator (6-10 years' experience)
  • Proven experience delivering automation, security, DevOps and monitoring solutions across hybrid environments, including both cloud (Azure preferred) and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Expertise in engineering and deploying automation workflows using the Ansible Automation Platform, with a strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles and orchestration strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipeline development, including workflow automation, secrets management, and integration with security and compliance tools.
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps practices, including integrating security checks into CI/CD pipelines, managing policy-as-code, and automating compliance validation.
  • Proficiency in developing Ansible playbooks and roles to automate provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment across diverse environments.
  • Experience with administering DevSecOps Tools like GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory and Ansible Automation Platform at Enterprise level.
  • Ability to analyze performance data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and root causes, with a solid grasp of KPIs and their impact on system and application health.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, including log analysis, system diagnostics, and root cause identification across distributed systems and microservices architectures.
  • Familiarity with modern application architectures, including containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud-native services, and database technologies.
  • Scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or PowerShell to extend Ansible capabilities, integrate with APIs, and automate operational tasks.
  • Experience using Red Hat Linux as a DevOps environment
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve performance issues quickly. This involves analyzing logs, tracing transactions, and pinpointing inefficiencies in code or infrastructure
  • Demonstrated skills in planning, building, and supporting scalable applications
