Job description

Overview

The function of the Facilities Management (FM) Customer Site Representative is to serve as the full time, on-site representative of Sharp Business Systems at a specific client location. This position is located in West Palm Beach

Responsibilities

  • Running print and copy jobs for users

  • Production device operation and maintenance along with any requested finishing services including binding, laminations, booklet making.

  • Job ticket workflow and proof preparation for customer review and approval

  • Quality checks, including problem diagnosis and correction.

  • Packaging and delivery of completed jobs to customers

  • Tracking of resources used per job โ€“ including consumables, paper inventory, and finishing supplies for projects via Office Services.

  • Inventory management for supplies โ€“ including the ordering of supplies to replenish ones used and maintaining proper inventory for recurring projects.

Device Management and Functionality

  • Device management and functionality: copying, faxing, printing, scanning, device cleaning, problem diagnosis and resolution.

  • Consumables and replaceable parts inventory management including toner replacements on contracted machines and supply ordering for contracted machines.

  • Primary customer contact for device support/service as well as device removal and delivery.

  • First response for resolution on service issues OR escalation of any service related issues to Service Department via placement of service calls.

  • Meter read collection and submission for non-networked devices.

  • Facilitate Asset Tracking for customer including reporting network connectivity issues to IT Department

Customer Service

  • On-going end user training and support for printing issues.

  • Completing weekly report for client Office Services Supervisor for all completed projects based on client agreement

  • Supporting client mailroom as outlined in client agreement; including inbound/outbound mail and shipping services as well as distribution of mail and supplies.

Position Specifications

  • Previous experience working with copiers and postage machines a plus

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • Proven ability to work independently, remotely and with minimal supervision

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability to prioritize projects and maintain flexibility to shift priorities as necessary

  • Must possess basic mathematical skills especially arithmetic

  • Ability to walk, stoop, bend, and lift 50 pounds

  • Position may call for travel between multiple facilities within the scope of a branchโ€™s territory

The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
