As a key member of the Facility Development team, the Facility Development Project Manager provides high-level administrative, analytical, and project coordination support to the Vice President of Facility Development in executing the organization's ASC growth and facility development strategy. This role functions as an extension of the Vice President, helping organize priorities, coordinate cross-functional efforts, track initiatives, and support selected aspects of project planning and execution.
The position is ideal for a highly organized professional with healthcare development exposure who excels in coordination, communication, and follow-through and who is seeking growth within ambulatory surgery center care services.
Executive Leadership Support
• Provide direct day-to-day support to the Vice President of Facility Development.
• Assist in organizing priorities, calendars, meetings, and development initiatives.
Project Coordination & Monitoring
• Support assigned ASC development projects under direction of the Vice President.
• Maintain project trackers, schedules, and milestone reporting.
General Administrative
• Assist VP of Facility Development with tracking capital equipment, budgets and invoice approval process
• Support review of bids, proposals, and vendor agreements.
Regulatory & Compliance Assistance
• Support VP of Facility Development in permitting, licensure, and inspection coordination.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and compliance checklists.
Operational Readiness Support
• Help coordinate equipment planning and installation schedules.
• Assist with move-in, commissioning, and turnover activities.
Required Education, Experience and Skills
• Associate's degree or higher level of education in Healthcare Project management and or construction management or related technical field preferred.
• Five or more years' Healthcare Project Management or Construction Management experience preferred and considered in-lieu of degree.
• Healthcare Construction experience
• Healthcare Life Safety experience including knowledge of AHJ regulations for ASCs
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and follow-through.
• Basic understanding of healthcare construction and regulatory environment.
Preferred Certification/Licenses- Preferred
• Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM)
• Certified Project Manager (CPM)
