Job description

Position Summary
Seeking a Florida-licensed Professional Engineer to lead and grow a Land Development practice in Central Florida. This individual will operate with a high degree of autonomy and will be responsible for managing a team, overseeing a strong book of work, and serving as a senior client-facing leader without requiring daily oversight from firm principals.
The firm maintains a diversified and active backlog across multiple sectors. Current high-growth areas include large-scale retail and entertainment developments, nationally recognized commercial projects, and several substantial mixed-use communities. The firm also continues steady work in multifamily, single-family, industrial, and other private-sector development sectors. Healthcare is an emerging growth area with strategic initiatives underway that are expected to generate sustained project flow.
This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced PE ready to take ownership of project delivery, team performance, and client relationships within a multidisciplinary civil engineering environment.
Responsibilities
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and designers
• Oversee multiple residential, commercial, mixed-use, retail, industrial, and healthcare-related development projects
• Manage scope, budgets, schedules, and financial performance
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients and regulatory agencies
• Direct permitting efforts in Central Florida (municipal and county agencies)
