Job Description

This role will serve as a liaison, providing product and service information, answering inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise within the government leasing portfolio-ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the process. Additionally, this role will be responsible to support all lease opportunities with Government entities, support the generation of new and existing leads that transition into revenue dollars through for government lease transactions. Manage customer and internal expectations while identifying, resolving and or escalating critical issues. 

 
Job Duties
  • Act as initial point of contact for FIS Sales team members on Government related tasks and contracts
  • Respond to all Government related inquiries received from internal and external customers via phone and/or email on opportunities
  • Problem-solve daily and liaison between customers, sales representatives, and other internal departments to close out new Government business
  • Provide internal and external customers with accurate and timely information on leasing status as well as pending Government requests
  • Understand and translate company policies and practices to sales and customers as needed
  • Assist internal and external customers with various research related activities to create a smooth transition to new government lease transactions
  • Support Sales Support as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate's degree or 2 years of Financial Services leasing experience required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of financial services or related business experience required.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships at all levels.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Solid listening & problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize workload effectively managing rigid deadlines.
  • Requires a calm and patient personality and dedicated work ethic.
  • Must enjoy working individually and in a team environment.
  • Must be professional and punctual.
  • Ability to stay focused and have excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Extended hours may be required during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end periods, as dictated by business needs.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of Government documentation and contract operations for equipment-based financing transactions preferred.
  • System knowledge in InfoLease, Rapport, SAP and Salesforce preferred.
