You will manage a portfolio prospects & accounts. You and your team members will engage with key outbound leads. You will aid account directors in researching targets, building out account plans and driving new meeting and business opportunities. You will spend 70% of your time building direct pipeline & 30% of your time on skills education & development. You are someone who enjoys being a part of a dynamic team.
You will learn to present our Sponsorship Programs to a wide range of Technology Vendors across the US, help ramp up our Account Based Marketing programs and drive revenue. You will help your sales colleagues to research target firms and find local contacts.
Don't worry you won't get bored; we are an exciting firm in a very exciting market. However, you do need to do the work if you want to succeed. This is a very hands-on role.
Main Responsibilities:
Selling Sponsorship Marketing opportunities across a portfolio of Event Programs and Digital Assets
โ€ข Opportunity to become a product specialist and own direction and development of events in the in an allocated portfolio
โ€ข Create and manage a pipeline of prospects to grow the sponsorship client base and ensure target attainment
โ€ข Achieve both new and repeat business revenue targets for each Program you work on
โ€ข Establishing and nurturing of key accounts and new business within the technology market
โ€ข Attendance and delivery of events across the US region
โ€ข Sourcing and developing sales leads to prospect
โ€ข Preparing sales proposals for sponsorship investments
โ€ข Identify and propose custom-marketing solutions to CEOs and VPs
โ€ข Develop new business clients into key accounts across CDM Media's portfolio of products
โ€ข Implement efficient key account management strategies to maximize client relationship value
Required Experience, Skills & Education
  • A self-starter, highly detail-oriented, curious + creative and able to think on your feet
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, deadline oriented environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • You are persistent and resourceful.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with people successfully, either in person or over the phone, to lead or persuade, and overcome challenges
  • Disciplined approach to daily activity planning, setting goals and achieving success
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
