Pay: $85,000/year + UNCAPPED COMMISSION
Hours/Days: Monday–Friday, standard business hours

IMMEDIATE Business Development Manager position available! We are currently representing a growing client in the facilities services industry seeking a motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join their sales team on a direct hire (permanent) basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional who enjoys prospecting, developing new relationships, and taking ownership of the sales process from initial outreach through qualified opportunity generation. The ideal candidate is competitive, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, networking, referrals, and other outbound sales strategies
  • Research prospective customers and connect with key decision-makers to introduce company services and identify potential business needs
  • Qualify leads and coordinate introductory meetings with prospective clients
  • Develop, maintain, and consistently grow a healthy sales pipeline using CRM and prospecting tools
  • Build and cultivate strong relationships with prospects throughout the business development process
  • Conduct consistent outbound activity to achieve and exceed established sales and lead-generation goals
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure qualified opportunities are effectively transitioned through the sales process
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date prospect, activity, and pipeline information within the CRM
  • Monitor sales activity and performance metrics while adjusting strategies to maximize results
  • Stay informed on company offerings, customer needs, competitive activity, and trends within the facilities services industry
  • Represent the organization professionally while establishing credibility and trust with prospective clients
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, outbound sales, lead generation, or a similar sales-focused role
  • Demonstrated success generating new leads through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and other prospecting methods
  • Strong ability to establish relationships and engage confidently with decision-makers
  • Facilities services industry experience preferred, including janitorial, commercial cleaning, maintenance, engineering, or project-based services
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage a sales pipeline, and remain accountable to activity and performance goals
  • Highly motivated, competitive, and driven by achieving measurable results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with prospects and clients
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize prospecting activities and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Proficient with CRM and sales technology platforms
  • Experience with tools such as HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Map My Customers, or similar platforms is a plus
  • Marketing knowledge or previous marketing experience is preferred but not required
  • Industry-specific experience is not mandatory; must demonstrate the ability and willingness to learn the business quickly
