Job Description

Business Development Manager - Forensic Consulting

Role Overview
Drive revenue growth and profitability by promoting forensic consulting services within the Greater Calgary, Alberta area. Build and maintain strong client relationships, cross-sell services, and collaborate with district managers and experts to execute sales strategies and client events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a geographic sales strategy targeting independent adjusters and regional insurance carriers.

  • Build and nurture relationships with technical leaders, managers, and sales teams to sell all services within assigned accounts.

  • Partner with Major Account and Legal Market teams to service key clients.

  • Identify client/expert opportunities with District Managers.

  • Drive growth through innovative marketing, events, and Continuing Education training.

  • Coach expert teams on sales skills and tools.

  • Collaborate with Marketing to promote experts and service capabilities.

  • Own CRM data for assigned geography, tracking all activity.

  • Stay current with company policies, procedures, and training.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years in insurance sales preferred

  • Skills: Strategic sales, interpersonal, customer service, written/oral communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

  • Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, specifically SalesForce.

  • Soft Skills: Teamwork, compassion, respect, integrity, accountability, and ethical conduct.

  • Focus: Timely execution with a strong ROI mindset and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing client relationships in the assigned geography.

  • Membership in local insurance associations/organizations.

Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
