Job Summary:

This position performs production operator functions including, but not limited to, final assembly, electrical assembly, cable assembly, product configuration, kitting, testing, packaging, identification, and material handling of product. Responsible for performing all production functions as requested by production management.

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Completes production processes according to established operating procedures. Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products. Use a variety of hand and power tools following appropriate methods and procedures to complete assembly job responsibilities. Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and establishedsafety procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Cross train to other departments as needed. Other duties as requested.

REQUIREMENTS

Basic reading skills. Must be able to follow directions. Basic computer navigation and utilization skills. Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly. High attention to detail and self-motivation skills. Able to lift 25-50 pounds. Regularly perform repetitive tasks. Possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately. Must be able to stand all day. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management. Perform job responsibilities efficiently meeting established standards. Must have the desire to work in a fast pace environment. Experience in an electronics environment along with soldering skills are preferred. Must be willing to work > 40 hours per week. Must have good attendance and punctuality.
