What is a development driver?

Development Drivers are professional drivers who work closely with automotive manufacturers and racing teams to test and provide feedback on new vehicles, prototypes, or components. Their role is to assess performance, safety, handling, and other aspects under various conditions, helping engineers refine and improve the final product. Development Drivers often have extensive racing or high-performance driving experience and play a critical role in the research and development process of both consumer and high-performance vehicles.

A Development Driver plays a crucial role in the vehicle development process by rigorously testing prototypes and providing detailed feedback on handling, performance, and safety.
