Job description

My client is seeking a business development/account management professional to join their growing Commercial Division in the disaster restoration industry.

This role is crucial for driving business growth, focusing on commercial and multifamily property management, healthcare, hospitality, and industrial industries. You will be responsible for revitalizing and restoring residential and commercial properties affected by water, fire, and other disasters.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business opportunities and maintain existing client relationships.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and our organization, ensuring superior client service.
  • Achieve sales targets through strategic planning and execution.
  • Conduct educational and training programs to expand sales in commercial opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, tradeshows, and networking functions.
  • Develop strategic customer sales/marketing plans and participate in business planning.
  • Regularly update CRM with sales activities and client interactions.
  • Achieve approximately 70 connections per week through various communication methods.
  • Minimum of 15 phone calls per day & 15 emails per day
  • 3-5 scheduled Probe Meetings per week
  • Up to 40 face-to-face interactions per week such as route stops/site visits
  • Schedule and conduct meetings, site visits, and face-to-face interactions to build relationships.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of outside sales experience, ideally selling to the commercial/multi-family property management, hospitality, healthcare, senior living, and industrial facilities industries.
  • Experience with multiple sales techniques and industry association activity.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with a focus on long-term client relationships.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including CRM usage and Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Valid driver's license for client visits and industry events.
  • Ability to attend networking functions 2-4 evenings a month.
