This field-based role supports a broad territory from Thunder Bay, ON to Vancouver Island, BC, and requiresregular regional travel, including up to 70% overnight travel weekly.

What You Will Get To Do

  • Grow, develop, and drive sales within your assigned territory across whole goods categories and parts.

  • Develop dealer growth plans, forecast product demand, manage dealer inventory, communicate promotions, review programs, and support warranty resolution.

  • Maintain accurate sales information in Salesforce, including weekly call reports and other reports as required.

  • Partner with the Credit department to ensure dealer payment procedures are followed throughout your territory.

  • Support the growth of Professional (PRO) products by recruiting new PRO dealers, strengthening dealer relationships, participating in demonstrations and open houses, and communicating opportunities to the IR Sales Manager.

  • Drive parts sales growth by encouraging Independent Retail dealers to become Service Dealers, ensuring consumers receive exceptional service that promotes repeat business and long-term customer loyalty.

  • Represent Stanley Black & Decker at dealer Open Houses, Demo Days, Test Drives, Trade Shows, and other key customer events. Demonstrate products confidently while highlighting features and benefits and coordinate training for dealer employees.

  • Manage dealer advertising packages by establishing budgets, developing advertising plans, ensuring adequate signage, and promoting merchandising best practices that drive consumer traffic.

  • Collaborate with Customer Service to communicate product availability, inventory levels, and delivery schedules while helping move surplus inventory across all brands within the assigned territory.

Who You Are

  • Post-secondary education in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of business development or territory sales experience, ideally within the commercial outdoor products industry or selling through an independent retail channel.

  • Client-focused with exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.

  • Strong planning, organization, and territory management abilities.

  • Proven self-starter who takes ownership, follows through, and works effectively with minimal supervision.

  • Highly motivated with a results-driven mindset.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.

  • Flexible and able to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory, including up to 70% weekly overnight travel.
