About the role:

Our Surv+ membership is quickly becoming the businesss driving force. Since this model shift is integral to boosting revenue and scaling Surv to the next level, the Surv+ Membership Sales Intern position will heavily contribute to noticeable company growth and happier, stronger Communities. Through targeted sales strategies such as telecommunicative outreach, in-person pitches, and social media engagement, the Intern will be a key player in scaling a start-up into its next stage of expansion.

Youll be responsible for:

  • Aiding in the creation and execution of creative outreach strategies for our Surv+ membership

  • Assisting in high-volume sales calls and emails to past and potential clients

  • Monitoring relevant social media, such as Facebook community groups

  • Fostering meaningful and lasting relationships with existing and prospective Surv+ members

  • Accomplishing other sales directives as membership-focused goals shift

The ideal candidate is:

  • Comfortable conducting calls to potential customers and pitching Surv+

How you will be supported:

  • Our Business Development Associate, to whom you will report directly, will train the candidate on all things Surv+ and best practices

  • Our Sales Director, who will act as a resource for support and assist in sales strategies and goals

Requirements:

  • Must have a smartphone and laptop (A laptop may be able to be leased from Surv)

  • Must be willing/able to travel to our Newport, RI headquarters occasionally

  • Must be willing/able to assist in in-person sales meetings

  • A rising junior or senior in college is preferred

  • No experience required; a high willingness to learn is a must
