We are hiring an Account Manager, Inside Sales (B2B) to grow and manage a portfolio of active business customers. In this role, you’ll focus on expanding customer spend, introducing new product categories, and strengthening long-term relationships.

You’ll manage an established book of business and be responsible for identifying opportunities to increase share of wallet across categories like office supplies, breakroom, print, promotional products, furniture, and technology.

This is a great opportunity for both early-career candidates, those with transferrable skills looking to shift into a sales role and experienced account managers who thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Note: This position is a minimum of 4 days in the office at our Lincolnshire, IL location with flexibility for remote work on Fridays. 

$22.75/hour - $27.00/hour, plus incentive opportunity

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Manage and grow a book of active business customers
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships
  • Make outbound calls to drive repeat business and uncover new sales opportunities
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across multiple product categories
  • Analyze customer purchasing behavior to recommend tailored solutions
  • Manage a consistent sales pipeline and meet daily/weekly productivity targets
  • Partner with internal teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Educate customers on product offerings, pricing, and consolidation opportunities

What’s needed - Basic Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Ability to work onsite at our Lincolnshire, IL location at least 4 days per week

What’s needed - Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in sales, customer service, retail sales, or another customer-facing role
  • Experience managing accounts or building client relationships is a plus
  • Exposure to B2B sales environments preferred

The salary range represents the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting.  The specific base pay may be influenced by a variety of factors to include the candidate's experience, skill set, education, business considerations, geography, and internal equity.   Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.
