Assistant General Manager
Upscale fine dining location in White Plains, NY.

Looking for an Assistant General Manager to help lead, share ideas, take on any duties to assist the floor or GM that may be needed. A team leader and team player are our priority.

The AGM assists with the schedules, the staff's needs, expediting and anything else to connect the FOH and BOH to run smoothly.

Some expected responsibilities:

  • Assist with the daily operations of the restaurant.
  • Train FOH in service
  • Manage disputes of staff and complaints of customers
  • Responding to reviews on all platforms
  • Work with and collaborate with the BOH
  • Help audit and control costs (operational) to reach goals and targets
  • Assist with marketing development
  • Assist with implementing procedures, cleanliness and organization.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting restaurant environment.
  • Assist as HR for hiring, training, and terminations

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of restaurant management experience.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Management of POS, Open Table, and Triple Seat a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
